Consumed on an Empty Stomach: BSN's N.O. Xplode Review
I'm now using N.O. Xplode, and I see that the label advises me to take it on an empty stomach. I typically have a protein shake as part of my pre-workout meal. Is this okay?
Okay, I suppose it's time I addressed this problem before it got out of hand. The last meal you had must have been at least two hours before to taking NO Xplode, which must be taken on an EMPTY STOMACH. Therefore, NO, it is not appropriate to combine it with your protein shake because doing so would just decrease its efficiency.
I've lost track of how many emails, texts, and phone calls I've had in the last few weeks from people asking for assistance with BSN supplements, particularly NO Xplode. I warned you not to shake N.O. Xplode in the shaker; instead, stir it with a spoon. I apologize to anyone who has had this happen to them. To those of you who have experienced having Xplode ruin your clothing, blow up in your gym locker, wreck your kitchen, and explode in your car (well, this was me.. hehe), I must say that you guys are a funny bunch.
Well, I have to confess that it can be challenging for those of you who don't have time or keep track of your meals the same way I do. For instance, I always space my meals out by about three hours, and I won't drink a lot of water for about two hours after any meal since it takes that long for my stomach's contents to empty. These are small details, but I sometimes take them quite seriously.
How is my buddy meant to fit in taking N.O.? Xplode if he needs to do so on an empty stomach when he gets up in the morning, eats two pieces of bread, and immediately goes to the gym to work out? That is exactly what he asked me when he first started using Xplode as a supplement.
Again, how can you fit Xplode into your schedule given that it must be ingested on an empty stomach before to your workout? Then there are those of you who eat whenever you're hungry, occasionally skip meals entirely, or simply grab a fast bite to fill your stomach before your workout.
It's a little challenging, but you simply need to get accustomed to it.
I've been drinking a protein shake before my workouts for the past few months as well. According to scientific evidence, consuming protein before weightlifting may be just as vital as taking it directly after—if not more so.
When you lift weights, your working muscles see a significant increase in blood flow, which helps "push" any circulating amino acids into the muscle cells. To maximize this impact, however, you must have enough amino acids flowing in your blood. For this reason, you should consume some protein (which is made up of amino acids) before exercising. Who doesn't want rapid muscular growth? This will support it.
Okay, so here's what I advise for those of you who are a bit perplexed and find it challenging to manage your time, consume your protein shakes, and supplement with NO-Xplode:
(1) Have your protein shake with water, not milk, 60 minutes before your workout. (Milk takes longer to digest; you want it to do so fast so that Xplode may take its place.)
(2) Take your NO-Xplode 30 minutes after your protein shake (however many scoops you usually require). As a liquid, your pre-workout protein shake would have cleared your system and been digested, unlike a solid meal that may take you up to two hours to finish.
(3) If you're also taking Cellmass as a supplement, eat 1 serving right away after working out. BSN's post-workout creatine supplement, Cellmass, is designed to replenish creatine stocks lost during exercise, hasten recovery, enhance muscle cell volume, increase muscular density/hardness, and do a bunch of other weird stuff.
(4) Have your post-workout protein smoothie or meal 30 minutes after taking Cellmass.
I hope this helps individuals who are confused. Luck! If you have any special inquiries about N.O. Xplode, send me a message here. I'll do my best to assist.
